In October 2017, our client was a passenger in a motor vehicle that was rear-ended by another motor vehicle which was operated by an uninsured driver who was following too closely. Our client subsequently filed a claim for Uninsured Motorists Coverage (UM) due to sustaining injuries to his neck, lower back, and shoulder. This caused him to undergo extensive medical treatment over the course of the next few years, including a surgery to his neck to repair a disc herniation and a surgery to his shoulder, which sustained a labral tear. The Defendant UM Carrier initially downplayed the severity and extent of Plaintiff’s injuries and the Firm was left with no option but to file suit.

During litigation, trial attorney Matthew Levy was able to negotiate a $550,000 settlement on behalf of our client to compensate him for the damages caused by the uninsured driver’s negligence.
