Boca Raton, FL – Kanner & Pintaluga’s 2023 Summer Associate Program concluded last week following the annual mock trial which was held on Wednesday, August 2 in the Firm’s state-of-the-art courtroom. The capstone event, organized by trial attorney Berkin Aslan, required an enormous amount of preparation by all involved. A special thanks to Moises Camilo, Shaheen Hashemain, Eric Ramputh, and Alexander Tyler, who participated as mock trial advocates. Judge Ilona M. Holmes (Ret.), who presided over the mock trial, was also complimentary: “Thank you so much for hosting the mock trial and for allowing me to preside,” said Holmes. “And thank you for contributing to the development of these up and coming lawyers.”

This year, 28 law students participated in the 12-week Program that is designed to provide law students the opportunity to work on a variety of substantive and challenging work assignments and learn transferable skills. Unlike other firms, we expect our young attorneys to take ownership of their cases from inception to trial and our investment in them starts during the Summer Associate Program.
