Berkin Aslan

Berkin Aslan is a partner in Kanner & Pintaluga’s Personal Injury Practice, with a focus on traumatic brain injuries and tractor-trailer crashes.

Berkin’s extensive trial experience includes conducting over two dozen civil jury trials, demonstrating a strong ability to achieve favorable outcomes in complex matters. Berkin’s expertise in the field is further underscored by his role in designing and leading the firm’s Summer Associate Program, and internal Focus Group Program, which have contributed significantly to developing legal strategies and mentoring future advocates.

Berkin obtained his J.D. from NSU’s Shepard Broad College of Law, excelling in mock trial and moot court competitions during his time there. Amongst his numerous recognitions, Berkin earned the “Best Advocate” award at two national mock trial competitions, competing against more than 125 law students at each competition. Berkin also has a B.A. in International Affairs from George Washington University, where he was the recipient of the prestigious Hennigan Debate Scholarship and competed for GWU’s top ranked Policy Debate Team, with significant national achievements.

Before joining Kanner & Pintaluga, P.A. in 2017, Berkin honed his skills at a prominent insurance defense firm handling medical malpractice cases. This unique experience provided him with valuable insights into the intricacies of defense strategies, which he now effectively fights every day for his clients.

Despite his busy practice, Berkin also finds time to serve as a mock trial coach for NSU competition teams and has been a Speaker at KP’s Traumatic Brain Injury Symposium multiple years.
