Kanner & Pintaluga Promotes 9 to Partner Across Four Practice Areas

Boca Raton, FL – As Kanner & Pintaluga continues to grow and evolve, the Firm is pleased to announce the promotion of 9 attorneys to Partner. These promotions are effective on January 1, 2022.

They not only provide extraordinary service and guidance to our clients, but they are also top-notch professionals and mentors.”

The new Partners are:

Joseph Abdallah, Florida Personal Injury, Litigation. Joe’s is one of the Firm’s most experienced trial attorneys. His practice focuses on representing individuals in personal injury claims. In 2019, Joe was responsible for a settlement in excess of $12 million in connection with a wrongful death case. Joe received a B.A. from Binghamton University, where he received multiple honors for his academic excellence and his commitment to the community. He completed his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University.

Alexis Altman, Florida First Party Property. Alexis is one of the most senior attorneys in the First Party Property practice group. Her practice focuses on representing homeowners and business owners in property damage and coverage disputes throughout Florida. Alexis received a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Florida. She completed her J.D. at Florida International University.

Brad Berg, Georgia Personal Injury, Pre-Suit. Brad joined the Firm in 2015. His practice specializes in advocating for individuals harmed in personal injury accidents, including auto accidents, slip and falls, and wrongful deaths. Brad received a B.S. in Business Management from Florida Atlantic University. He completed his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University.

Donald Bertke, Florida Personal Injury, Pre-Suit. Don joined KP in 2013. His practice has been devoted to handling a wide variety of personal injury cases, including those involving motor vehicle and pedestrian accidents, premises liability, negligent security, and wrongful death. Don received his B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice from Florida Atlantic University. He completed his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University.

Justin Cohen, Florida Personal Injury, Pre-Suit. Justin joined KP in 2015. His practice focuses on representing individuals in all areas of personal injury law. Justin received his B.A. from Northwood University. He completed his J.D. at Barry University.

Anthony Dennis, Florida First Party Property. Anthony specializes in representing homeowners and business owners in property damage and coverage disputes throughout the state. Before joining Kanner & Pintaluga, Anthony gained experience serving as an associate and then junior partner at a well-respected South Florida defense firm where he represented insurance carriers in first party disputes as well as experience in construction defect litigation. Anthony received a B.A. in Legal Studies and a B.S. in Political Science from the University of Central Florida. He completed his J.D. at the University of Miami where he graduated cum laude.

Casey Donahue, Georgia Personal Injury, Pre-Suit. Casey joined the KP Family as a member of Nova Southeastern University’s Personal Injury Law Clinic. Barred in Georgia, Florida and Texas, she specializes in representing personal injury clients in all types of accidents. In addition to representing clients, she also manages the law clerk program for the practice group. Casey received a B.A., magna cum laude, from Florida State University. She completed her J.D. at Nova Southeastern University, graduating magna cum laude.

John Edwards, Florida First Party Property. John covers all areas of first party property damage and has one of the most successful practices at the Firm. He also makes a point to mentor other lawyers in the group. John received a B.S. and a J.D. from Florida State University.

Matthew Gottlieb, Florida First Party Property. Matt’s practice encompasses all types of first party property damage matters. Prior to KP, Matt practiced as a civil defense attorney protecting insurance companies related to first party insurance disputes, construction defect litigation, and personal injury claims. He received a B.S. in Business Management, cum laude, from Bentley University. He completed his J.D. at Nova Southeastern University, graduating magna cum laude.
