In November 2018, our client was exiting a shopping plaza when suddenly and without warning, she was cut-off by the defendant driver causing a collision. As a result of this crash, our client sustained significant injuries including but not limited to, severe spinal injuries with accompanying leg numbness, as well as a fractured finger. Given these severe injuries, our client was forced to undergo numerous injections to her neck, back, and hand, as well as numerous surgeries necessitating hardware placement. Despite the intervention, our client was continuing to suffer from leg numbness. One night, our client was at a restaurant when her leg went numb, causing her to fall. The Firm was able to successfully argue the causal relationship between the initial accident and the subsequent fall by proving that the nerve, which became impinged as a result of the initial accident, was the same impinged nerve that likely caused the fall.

Despite an initial offer of just $125,000 from the insurance carriers, Partner and Managing Attorney Jensen Grant and attorney Christina Strompf fought tirelessly to make our client whole and were able to settle the case for the $1,450,000 policy limits — over 11 times the initial offer.
