Boca Ratón, Florida, EE.UU. – 2021 data from the American Bar Association show that despite recent gains over the past decade, just 15% of the 1.3 million U.S. attorneys are from minority groups. By contrast, minorities comprise 40% of the U.S. population, according to the most recent figures from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The Broward County Hispanic Bar Association (BSHBA) and Kanner & Pintaluga recognize the importance of increasing the visibility of Hispanic legal professionals in order to better reflect our society and to better serve our clients. Amongst the newest members of the Association are Kanner & Pintaluga attorneys Carlos Bruzual, Fiorella Gasco, y María Sánchez who reflect the vibrant and growing Hispanic legal community.

In addition to adding attorneys to the BCHBA, Kanner & Pintaluga will be the exclusive sponsor of the Association’s “Broadening Horizons” Law School Scholarship Program for 2022.

The scholarships are generally given to South Florida law students who demonstrate a passion for helping others — a hallmark of Kanner & Pintaluga. This year’s Award Ceremony and Installation Brunch is scheduled for July 10, 2022 at the Sonesta Fort Lauderdale Beach Hotel.
