Blair M. Fazzio is a Partner Kanner & Pintaluga where she oversees all the appellate proceedings in the Firm’s Personal Injury and First Party Property practice groups, as well as serving as lead counsel to both outside law firms and individual clients on their appellate issues.

As a seasoned appellate advocate, Blair has a proven track record of securing reversals of adverse decisions and ensuring that rightful verdicts withstand appeal, both via briefs and oral argument. She has also been instrumental in assisting first-party property clients in overturning improper insurance denials and obtaining to protect their rightful insurance proceeds under their homeowners’ policies.

Blair is an Eagle member of the Florida Justice Association and sits on the Florida Justice Association HB 837 Appellate Review Committee, First-Party Insurance Claims Committee, and Rules and Evidence Committees as well as being a member of the appellate practice and women’s caucus.

Blair began her legal career as a law clerk for the Honorable Angel A. Cortiñas in Florida’s Third District Court of Appeal. Blair then served as lead appellate counsel at the Office of the Assistant Attorney General of Florida where she argued complex appellate matters before both the Florida Supreme Court and the Florida District Courts of Appeal. Blair joined Kanner & Pintaluga in 2016 as a trial attorney and evolved into her current role as lead appellate attorney.

She graduated with honors from Florida State University and then the University of Miami School of Law.

In her spare time, Blair enjoys spending time with her two children.
