Amir S. Bahreini, Esq. is a Personal Injury Attorney in the Firm’s Personal Injury Group.

Prior to joining Kanner & Pintaluga, Amir worked at various Firms where he obtained personal and general liability experience. He also clerked at the Department of Justice while attending law school. Amir has nearly a decade of experience including two first-chair civil jury trails.

Amir received a B.A. from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville. He completed his J.D. at Cooley Law School. While attending Cooley Law, Amir attained several awards / honors:

  • Certificates of Merit (Book Awards): Contracts, Pre-Trial Skills, Trial Skills, and Advocacy
  • Leadership Achievement Award
  • Moot Court Board Leader (2 national moot court competitions, 1 Florida Robert Orseck Moot Court Competition)

Amir has achieved several significant milestones in his legal career, including:

  • Obtained a $1,989,388.42 jury verdict as sole first-chair counsel in a pedestrian motor-vehicle case (Fla. 10th Judicial Circuit, Highlands County).
  • First-chair trial counsel in two civil jury trials; prepared and presented every phase of trial (voir dire, openings, direct/cross, experts, jury instructions, closings).
  • Insurance-defense background (general liability files, trucking cases and premises liability cases) informing plaintiff-side claim valuation, negotiation, and premises-liability strategy.
  • Federal litigation-support and e-discovery experience with the U.S. Department of Justice, Criminal Division.
