Weston, FL – Kanner & Pintaluga was the proud title sponsor of the 2023 Broward County Hispanic Bar Association’s (BCHBA) 34^th Annual Scholarship, Awards & Installation Gala held last Saturday, June 3 at The Club at Weston Hills. Kanner & Pintaluga was represented by Howard Kanner, Eric Pintaluga, Carlos Bruzual, Lee Cohen, Maria Sanchez, and Daniel Jimenez who attended the Gala alongside over 300 other attorneys, business partners, and members of the community.

The Gala, with the theme “Honoring the Past, Supporting the Future”, officially installed the BCHBA’s new president, Yineth Aslan, the 2023-2024 board members, and announced the 2023 Annual Scholarship recipients. In addition to the installation and awards ceremony, the evening included dinner, live entertainment, cultural performances, and a silent auction. The proceeds of the auction help the Association continue the work they do in the community.

The Broward County Hispanic Bar Association was founded in 1989, a time when diversity in the legal field was practically unheard of. Over the years, BCHBA leaders paved the way for this generation to have opportunities that were never available to them. To date, the organization continues to be a prominent voice of the Hispanic and Latino/a population and push for progress. Its aim is to promote diversity, cross-cultural appreciation, and equality in the legal profession.
