Rory L. Francis is a Senior Attorney in the Firm’s Property Damage Practice and Personal Injury Practice
Rory represents commercial and residential property owners in first party insurance disputes including tornado, fire, wildfires, storms, and hail claims. He also represents people with Personal Injury and Wrongful Death claims resulting from a wide variety of accidents and claims involving insurance “Bad Faith”, wrongful death, and serious motorcycle accidents. Prior to joining Kanner & Pintaluga, he managed his own law firm working to address a wide variety of legal needs and concerns on behalf of businesses and individuals.
After attending the University of Colorado, Rory graduated with distinction from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Political Science with Minors in English Literature and Japanese language. He then completed his J.D., with Honors, at the University of Denver – Sturm College of Law where he served on the Moot Court Board and competed in mock trial competitions and worked as a Research Assistant for noted legal scholars Professor Jan Laitos and Dr. Thomas Russell in the areas of Property Rights Protection and Tort Liability all while working full-time in insurance litigation and management.
Rory has spent over two decades handling insurance matters from all sides. He has an intimate knowledge of the inner workings of the insurance industry and has developed keen strategies to address the needs of his clients and works hard to achieve the best results. He is committed to working within the law in the best interests of his clients.
Rory has two grown daughters living in the Pacific Northwest and is very active in raising two stepchildren. He is an avid motorcyclist and a life-long skier/snowboarder.
