Officials said two cars were driving in opposite directions on Boggy Creek Road when a third car, which was unable to stop in time to avoid the crash, then slammed into the vehicles.
Crash reports say two occupants of one car were severely injured and were rushed to the hospital. Authorities have yet to release their identities.
The driver of the second car was stuck in her vehicle but was rescued by first responders and taken to the nearest hospital.
Meanwhile, a lady in the third vehicle sustained moderate injuries; a baby, who was also in the car, was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for prompt medical treatment.
Officials have not revealed the conditions of all the injured victims. The crash remains under investigation, police said.
