In addition to the Firm’s nearly 80,000 sq. ft. headquarters in Boca Raton, the new 13,000 sq. ft. office space in the heart of Coral Gables increases the firm’s South Florida footprint and supports the Firm’s growth strategy. Three years ago, Kanner & Pintaluga established a first-party property damage practice and since that time, that practice has boomed and helped fuel the Firm’s growth and accelerate its resource requirements.

“Thankfully, Kanner & Pintaluga has been somewhat insulated from the Covid-19 pandemic from a business standpoint and this expansion will provide us with an enhanced ability to attract talent and expand our capabilities.” said Brad Emler, Chief Administrative Officer. “Florida stayed open for business and it’s no secret that professionals have been migrating to South Florida amid the pandemic further enriching the area with talent. However, we have noticed it comes with new, personally imposed commute limitations as professionals transition back from remote work environments. We are seeing that most [professionals] will not entertain a commute from Miami to Boca — which has now ballooned to more than 90 minutes each way during rush hour. The Coral Gables location gives us access to talent we would otherwise not have.”

The nearly 100-lawyer plaintiff firm is also expanding in its other locations in Florida and nationally and currently has more than 25 open positions. “We are fortunate to be hiring when so many other businesses have had to cut back.
