Max Messinger is a partner and the managing attorney of the Firm’s Property Damage Practice.
Max’s primary practice emphasizes its focus on representing property owners in insurance disputes. Prior to joining Kanner & Pintaluga, he was the partner of the property division for the Broward office of one of the largest insurance defense firms in Florida. For nearly a decade, Max represented several insurance companies in property disputes as to insurance coverage. During this time, he oversaw thousands of lawsuits on behalf of the insurance companies as well as numerous trials. This included both residential and commercial insurance disputes.
Max graduated from Stetson University College of Law where he was on the Honor Roll. He participated in a visiting student program at the Nova Southeastern College of law where he was a member of the moot court team and the State Attorney Clinic. During this clinic, Max tried jury and non-jury trials even before graduating law school.
Prior to law school, Max attended The Florida State University where he was on the Dean’s List and a member of the National Honor’s Society. He also interned for Senator Walter “Skip” Campbell during a legislation session. This internship helped foster his appreciation for helping others which resulted in him being heavily involved in the Jacob’s Shoes Foundation.
Max is licensed to practice in all state and federal courts in Florida. Max was also named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers.
