Property Damage Attorney
Cortney Knox is an attorney in the Firm’s Property Damage Practice
Cortney specializes in representing property owners in first party insurance disputes including hurricane, fire, water, and mold claims. Prior to joining Kanner & Pintaluga, Cortney served as an Assistant State Attorney for the 11th Judicial Circuit in Miami Dade County, where she tried numerous cases to verdict, drafted and argued substantive motions, and participated in investigations with and provided legal advice to local law enforcement agencies.
Cortney graduated from Duquesne University with a B.S. in Biology. She then completed her J.D. at University of Miami School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief for the Inter-American Law Review.
