Donald G. Bertke is an associate attorney at the Law Offices of Kanner & Pintaluga; he does work in the pre-litigation division. Donald completed his undergraduate degree at Florida Atlantic University, where he graduated with his Bachelors in Psychology and Criminal Justice. While working on his Bachelors, Donald also took graduate level courses in biological basis of behavior and did research in Unconscious Transference in Eyewitness Testimony. Before going to Law School, Donald worked as an analyst for a bank handling many of the legal and operational aspects for the bank’s Florida branches. He then went on to Nova Southeastern University – Shepard Broad Law Center where he earned his Juris Doctor degree. While attending law school, Donald helped manage a judicial campaign and also assisted in raising money for a national organization that provides pro-bono legal representation to individuals who have been discriminated against on the basis of gender, sexual orientation, or medical conditions. Donald previously worked at a South Florida PIP/BI firm where he handled many of the aspects for the firm’s personal injury cases and PIP claims. Donald also dedicates his time to the Guardian ad Litem program in the 17th Judicial Circuit for children involved in dependency hearings. His goals are to protect the rights of those who have been injured and to ensure that they receive the compensation they deserve.
